Cinaș - Bucharest
About This Spot
Stepping into Cinaș, tucked away near the Jiului metro station in Bucureștii Noi, you immediately sense a place that’s quietly confident in its casual approach to great food. The atmosphere is unpretentious yet inviting, offering a refuge from the city’s bustle where conversation flows easily and time slows to a gentle, satisfying pace. It’s the kind of spot where familiar scents—freshly baked dough, smoky grilled meat, and simmering soups—comfort you like an old friend’s embrace.
The hum of the room is balanced, a blend of upbeat local chatter and the occasional clink of glass, all under the warm glow of softly lit interiors. Here, meals are less about rush and more about sharing moments—the kind that come when you’re savoring something honest and thoughtfully prepared. It’s a neighborhood presence that draws you back not by fanfare but by the friendly faces behind the counter and the steady flow of dependable flavors.
On any given day, the kitchen crafts dishes that feel rooted in home-cooked traditions but carry a subtle creative twist. From the lively bite of a quesadilla with spicy chorizo paired with crispy fries to a rich tomato soup garnished with fresh ricotta and basil pesto, the menu invites you to linger over textures and tastes that comfort and surprise in equal measure. Even the dessert—something as simple and forgiving as a chocolate souffle with vanilla ice cream—feels like a quiet celebration of the everyday.
The service reflects the tone of the space: warm and attentive, with genuine smiles that anchor the experience. While the pace of attention flows naturally with the ebb and pull of the room, there’s a sense that behind each interaction lies a desire to offer more than just a meal. It’s the kind of friendliness that makes you feel seen and welcomed without being rushed.
Ultimately, Cinaș feels like an authentic corner of București where food and community intersect gently, inviting you to return not for spectacle but for moments that linger quietly—sharing, savoring, and simply being.

Absolutely everything from the menu is amazing, the staff is lovely and attentive, great atmosphere, and I can’t stress this enough, the fries are exactly as my mom used to make when I was small. Love this place!

Having Dinner here was a Great idea! The food was absolutely excellent and so was the service, the lady that brought us the food was always smiling at us so it gave me a great vibe. The atmosphere was also good but i was feeling like something was missing. I don't know what but it did. Anyways, overall this place is a 9.50 (10) overall and it's a great choice eating here!

Nice place and nice personnel. I scored only four start because i had beef steak and they didn't ask how i would like to be cooked. Unfortunately i realized only when i cut the steak... was well done and i prefer medium. We eat 1 vegetable soup, 1 beef soup, 1 beef steak with asparagus, one tiramisu, 2 waters, 1 fresh juice and bread 170 Ron.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here one evening. On arrival, the waitress was super friendly, and we were able to place our order with ease. The wait for food didn't take too long and when it arrived it was delicious. For some reason, after the food had been delivered to the table, the service went downhill - the waitress took our empty plates but never asked if we wanted dessert or if we wanted more drinks, in fact we had to go and find her to order more drinks. I must add that it wasn't busy at all. It just felt like she couldn't be bothered anymore. We had the same problem when we wanted the bill - it took ages. It was such a shame because the food was lovely and the evening started off well. I'm not sure if I would revisit.

we are from Ukraine and were passing through Bucharest. We went for soup. And the lovely owner of the establishment treated us to pizza. It's incredibly nice. Thank you for the hospitality of this establishment.
